A bestselling ELK silhouette, the Varr Burnout Dress is made using a specialty burnout technique that combines opaque organic shapes with sheer sections for depth and texture. Cut from an organic cotton blend in a regular-fitting midi length, it features an extended shoulder with cap-like sleeves, a round neckline, straight silhouette and side splits. A stretch viscose slip is included underneath, with optional bra keeper loops to help keep it secured in place.

Fabric & Care

Main: 70% organic cotton, 30% polyester. Slip: 95% LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, 5% elastane.

The burnout technique creates a textural grid pattern by combining organic cotton and polyester fibres, resulting in a lightweight, breathable fabric. It's paired with a slip made from a smooth, stretchy ECOVERO™ viscose blend — a wood pulp-derived fibre recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification for its low-impact processing and reduced water and emissions footprint compared to generic viscose. The cotton is organically grown in India, reducing pesticide use and supporting healthier soil and waterways.

Hand wash cold using eco-friendly detergent, separately from dark colours. Do not bleach, soak, rub, wring, spin dry or tumble dry. Cool iron under cloth. Dry cleanable. Drip dry in shade.
